'BUCS' CRUISE IN E150k STUCKY MOTORS DEAL
MANZINI – Moneni Pirates have received a significant boost from Stucky Motors ahead of their crunch decider against Royal Leopard on Sunday.
The two teams will face off at Somhlolo National Stadium, each vying to secure the trophy for the first time in their history. Stucky Motors presented the ‘Sea Robbers’ of Moneni with a sponsorship of E150 000 during an event that featured Club President Thulani Xaba, Director Thulani Hlanze and Stucky Motors Sales Manager Derick Jele, along with Dealer Principal Eugene Oelofse.
excited
In his presentation, Jele expressed Stucky Motors’ enthusiasm for launching a partnership with the Caleb Ngwenya-coached side, thanking their Director Leo Stucky and Xaba for successfully negotiating the agreement.“We are excited to announce a sponsorship of E150 000. This sponsorship will include a commission-based structure, whereby for every truck purchased by a Moneni Pirates supporter, a commission will be paid to the team,” Jele stated. He highlighted the benefits of this commission structure, noting that it provides an opportunity for the club to generate income when its members purchase trucks from Stucky Motors Eswatini. “We encourage Moneni Pirates members to utilise this agreement to further support the club. We have established an incremental commission structure for our full range of trucks, from four-tonne vehicles to Actros trucks,” he added.
Jele urged members to inform the company whenever they are seeking a truck quote under the agreement with Pirates. “Upon conclusion of the sale and once payment has been received by Stucky Motors, we will then make a payment to Pirates,” he explained.
pride
He expressed pride in the partnership and looked forward to a long-term relationship, wishing the club success in the Ingwenyama Cup final on Sunday.
Meanwhile, Hlanze acknowledged the financial challenges faced by the club directors in funding the team personally. He praised Xaba for his leadership and for taking the initiative to secure partnerships for the Menzi ‘Magawugawu’ Simelane-captained side. “The sponsorship will go a long way to assist the team,” Hlanze stated, emphasising that it comes at a crucial time ahead of the final, which he described as a gateway to Africa.
“We urge the nation and our supporters to back Stucky by purchasing their trucks and vehicles,” he added. Hlanze also called on companies to support local teams, expressing his dismay at witnessing clubs struggle financially.
