MBABANE- Eswatini professional golfer Nobuhle Dlamini finished in the 33rd position at the 2025 Jo’burg Ladies Open.

This tournament took place from April 3-6, 2025 at Modderfontein Golf Club in Johannesburg, South Africa. The tournament had a prize purse of E6 million. Dlamini completed the event with a combined score of 218 over three rounds: she carded a three-over-par on the first day, followed by a two-under-par on the second day, and finished with a one-over-par on the final day.

In professional golf, players who make the cut and compete in the final round earn a share of the prize money, with payouts typically extending to the top 40 or 50 players, though in this case, the Jo’burg Ladies Open paid at least the top 71, who made the 36-hole cut. With a E6 million purse, Dlamini’s 33rd -place finish earned her E20 400, calculated based on the tournament’s payout structure.

While the exact payout percentages for the 2025 Joburg Ladies Open are not fully specified, Sunshine ladies tour events often follow a standard distribution.

The winner’s share is typically 15 per cent of the purse. For the E6 million purse, this equates to E900 000 for the winner. For a 33rd -place finish, the percentage is smaller, typically ranging from 0.33 to 0.5 per cent.

Dlamini’s earnings are calculated as follows; her payout is determined by multiplying the total purse of E6 million by an estimated 0.34 per cent, which equals E20 400. Nobuhle Dlamini’s earnings are precisely E20 400. The winner, Mimi Rhodes, earned E900 000.
