MBABANE – The MTN Premier League will finally kicks-off next week Sunday.

Premier League of Swaziland (PLS) CEO Nqobile Magagula announced the football calendar for the 2013/14 season during last night’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) held at Sigwaca House.

“These are tentative dates, which might be changed, but the office has opted to release them to outline our plan for the season,” Gamedze said. The league further announced that the much anticipated Trade Fair Cup which will be jointly sponsored by the PLS and SPTC kicks-off on August 31. The final is scheduled for September 29.

There will be the preliminary rounds contested by the eight teams whose winners will join the top four clubs that will join the competition in the quarter-finals. The semi-finals are scheduled for September 6. The Castle Premier Challenge will kick off on September 15 with the two-legged finals held on October 13 and 17. The SwaziBank Cup kicks off on January 24 and the final on April 6, 2014.
