Thank you Badara, welcome Petersen
The changes keep coming Ma-Highlanders and I am sure you will agree with me that all the changes made have been positive so far.
They are all part of the revival that is being led by new director Bheki Rubber Simelane, which have one aim to take the club to where it belongs.
Farewell Coach Badara
Last week we reached a mutual understanding with Alou Badara that his services were no longer required. The director Mr Bheki ‘Rubber’ Simelane had made it clear from the day he took over the team that the first 3 to 6 months were going to be used by the directors to assess everything required to run the club, including the structures within the club. The technical bench and the management committee were put in place temporarily so as to ensure continuity whilst permanent structures are being decided upon.
Coach Alou Badara was requested to prepare the team for the upcoming season, he did a great job with getting the fitness levels of the squad up and being the caretaker coach over the last two months. On behalf of the Patrons, Directors, Management Committee and supporters we wish to thank Coach Badara for his contribution and dedication to the team over the last 2 months. We also wish him well in all his future endeavours.
Welcome to the Bull’s Kraal Coach Petersen.
The directors have been very busy interviewing candidates to replace coach Badara over the past 2 weeks.
During those interviews one candidate stood head and shoulders above the rest and as you are no doubt already aware the directors managed to acquire the services of new coach Basil Petersen to lead the team for this season. Coach Petersen’s CV and coaching experience is second to none and we wish to welcome him in to the ‘Bulls Kraal’.
We are very confident that the new coach will deliver the results that all of us are hungry for. But we wish to remind all our supporters that Rome was not built in a day and the coach will require some time to settle in and to give the team a unique identity and style of play that will take the team back to the summit of Swazi football. For now the rest of the technical bench will remain unchanged with Sipho “Shilton” Dube and Sifiso “Barnes” Mkhulisi continuing to assist the head coach. Yet again our directors have shown their commitment to the club by working tirelessly to secure the services of the new coach and we wish to salute them for the effort they have put in.
Annual General Meeting
The National Supporters Committee has gotten sanction from the Patrons and Directors to hold an Annual General Meeting on Sunday the 8th September 2013 at La Casserole commencing at 9am. The director has also confirmed the AGM and we wish to encourage all our supporters to attend.
Until next week GWAZA NKUNZI!
