Welcome to today’s edition of our column Mabhakaniya. This week sees the start of this years Trade Fair Cup courtesy of SPTC and our own PLS. We thank these organizations for their commitment to Swazi soccer.

The Trade Fair Cup is an integral part of the long history of Swazi football and its revival and continuity is most welcome. We say Bravo to the organisations for making sure we have this second edition of the cup tournament.

READINESS FOR
OUR OPPONENTS

It has come to pass that our opponents in this tournament will be the winner between Manzini Wanderes and Umbe-lebele Cosmos. We are not about to predict who the winner between the two will be. However, we want to state clearly that we are ready to meet whosover will come our way!
Prior to the Charity Cup we started our preparations and we never stopped since.  Over the period since our exit in the charity Cup we have been working on strengthening the identified weak points of our team. On Saturday we will play our last friendly match at Taba-nkulu before our official fixture at the trade Fair Cup, so we are optimistic that we will be more than ready for our opponents.

NEW SIGNINGS

May I now take the opportunity to announce to all of you Pirates family the arrival within our family of the following experienced players: Chicco Mayisa and Thabiso Gumbi and also, in the true culture of the team two young signings in Neliso Myeni and Mkhululi Dlamini.
The experienced players will boost our defence as they are both in that department and the two young players will boost our attack.
I urge all of you Mabhakaniya to welcome them support them and encourage them in their execution of their duties in the team.
To our new signings I say feel both at home and at work.
I wish to state that the team is still looking at adding three more players and negotiations with their teams are on-going.

TEAM REPLICAS

On a partying note may I urge all our supporters to come to the stadium well dressed for the occasion and that is by wearing our replicas.
They are still available at Zara and from me.
Hope to see you at the Mavuso Stadium.
