MANZINI – Unstoppable Jay Zee outclassed Game Room over the weekend with a 21-4 win that earned the title favourites a bonus point to remain atop the Swazi Telecom Pool League table.

It was always going to be tough for Game Room who have managed three wins in 17 and have 22 points to leaders’ Jay Zee’s 51 points. The log standing indicated Game Room are placed 10th and have played the most games in the league.
Meanwhile, Jay Zee were awarded four points as opposed to three after this win last Sunday at Jay Zee Pool Club in Manzini. The fourth point comes as a bonus if a team reaches 17 frames in a game. This then took them to 51 points, just a point ahead of second-placed Stairs who beat defending champions Figaredo.

Stairs have also played a game more than the leaders who continue to beat teams as the league nears its end. Seven games remain at the most before the league curtain closes. One game between Macembe and Way Inn was abandoned due to power failure while another between Stairs and Mankayane has not been scored due to a pending protest.
