BOTSWANA THRASH UNISWA IN NETBALL

KWALUSENI – A ruthless Botswana netball outfit walloped the local outfit by 79-25 yesterday.
After a bright start, beating Lesotho 55-26 the previous day, the University of Swaziland side got more than they bargained for agasint their Botswana counterparts in the Intervarsity Games clash played at Ligcabho Lemaswati Sports Emporium at Kwaluseni yesterday.
Led by free scoring Goal Shooter (GS) Kempho Ngongorego, Botswana’s pace made it very hard to pin them down. They were 17-7 up by the end of the first quarter.
Quarters
The next three quarters were no different as the visitors raced from one end of the court to the other within a twinkle of an eye. As a result, the away side cruised to a 79-25 win.
The result means the country will only get a silver medal from the games. Botswana will meet Lesotho in the final match at the Emporium at 11am today.
