Greetings to the Manzini Wanderers Family, greetings bafana bemkhuleko bafana bemthandazo. Greetings to balandzeli bekudula.

I always feel so honoured whenever I sit down at my table with my laptop and start writing this coloum to such a big number of supporters. I also feel so humbled when I receive calls from you maWeseli either thanking me on the article or giving me some positive contributions on how best I can inform you on the happenings in your team you love so much.

The team you have stood by up to this far and nibukeka  ningayi  emuva no matter what. The patron, the MD and the whole MC would like to say thank you for the loyalty and passion you have for Manzini Wanderers FC. Without you there is no Manzini Wanderers FC.

The team had survived many trying conditions because of the support you contribute one way or the other. Your contribution is so valuable maWeseli, either it’s towards the senior team, the Under-20s or the ladies team, the fact that it is under the umbrella of the big and respected name of Manzini Wanderers FC. I am so much sorry maWeseli to those Weselians who had contributed something in one way or the other as I forgot to thank you through the article.

Please balandzeli bekudula contact me whenever you have done something for your team so that I include you here to encourage others to follow suit.
On that note maWeseli, on behalf of the patron, the MD and the entire MC, we would like to say thank you to one of you, an anonymous donor who donated soccer boots worth E10 000 at E1 999 each. We are so much humbled by this kind gesture from you Weseli. Special thanks also goes to our assistant general manager who made sure his networking capabilities united him with this great sponsor.
You are a blessing to the Manzini Wanderers family Mr. Mahlalela.
There are many Wanderers supporters who are businesspeople out there. Let me put it clear maWeseli, if we ever needed you, we need you now.
Please come forth and show your pride of following and supporting the biggest team in the kingdom. Your support, one way or the other, will go a long way in motivating the players to do well in the field of play.
Hope I’ll receive more calls from you maWaza at 7608 4094. Remember maWeseli we are not hosting any games these days but the everyday needs in the team are escalating drastically. This is our team lets own up maWaza.

Team news

The team is back at training maWeseli as last week the coach gave them a short break. We are preparing for our league game which will come after two weeks from now. We might have a friendly on Friday night with a certain club just to keep the fires burning. On another note, our player, Msimisi might be out of action for the rest of the season.
He had tried to resume training but the injury seems to recur every now and then when he kicks the ball. Papi hasn’t yet shown up maWeseli, we are still waiting for him to avail himself and explain himself to the MC. Otherwise all the players are now present and raring to go, including Ricky.

Under-20s, Ladies team

Last Saturday the Under-20s played against Mbabane Swallows. It was a game both teams wanted so much to win. We were so unfortunate as we created a lot of scoring opportunities but failed to convert. The boys were so disappointed about the draw. Hard luck boys, kwalekona kwenta. The boys again will be playing against Royal Leopard this weekend in the SwaziBank knockout tournament. Let us go there to support them maWeseli, as we did last week. Please maWeseli go to any SwaziBank branch and join the Lungisa Funeral Cover as the team stands to benefit a lot the more of you join.
On Sunday, our sisters were playing at the old Trade Fair grounds against Mbekelweni. What a day it was shem. They mercilessly thrashed Mbekelweni 8-0. They seem to get used to winning with libhola lekudula. Siyabonga bo sisi bethu kusiletsela injabulo lehlotjisiwe.

News extra

The Manzini Wanderers family would like to congratulate our soccer babe, Deli Tfwala, for winning in the Times of Swaziland/SwaziBank Cup Best Dressed Soccer Babe Competition. Udulile vele sisi because ugcoka timphahla tekudula-Wanderville.
She took home E300 and SwaziBank merchandise. Hope more of you bo sisi bekudula nitawugcoka le Wanderville yekudula to qualify.

Big Indaba

The supporters’ chairman after getting certain concerns from some of you supporters around the country has decided to postpone the meeting to a date still to be confirmed. The concerns were obvious; most of you are going to watch the Soweto derby.
‘God bless Manzini Wanderers Family’.
