‘GOLDEN’ NIKITA SHINES IN VISION CARE GALA!

MBABANE – Dolphin club swimmer Nikita Johnston has reigned supreme in the Vision Care 2014 Gala held at Sifundzani Primary School yesterday morning.


The 16-year-old went home with seven gold medals after she dominated in the event attended by over 100 swimmers. Johnston said she was happy with her performance which was improving with each competition.
“I did well today. The competition was tough but I was able to win all the events that I competed in,” she said.


Another swimmer who was marvel to watch was 7-year-old Timo Toepfer who went home with five medals including three gold medals and two silver medals. Toepfer was up against Connor Louw who gave him a tough time during their events.
The junior competed in events including 50m free style, 50m butterfly, backstroke and breaststroke.
