MBABANE – Mbabane Swallows are rushing against time to have their captain Tony ‘TT’ Tsabedze back for the MTN Premier League crunch match against Manzini Wanderers.

Tsabedze was stretchered off the pitch during the second half of the game against Royal Leopard in the SwaziBank Cup semi-finals on Sunday at Somhlolo National Stadium. He was replaced by Sabelo ‘Sikhali’ Ndzinisa in the game they lost 0-2.

Tsabedze injured his thigh and yesterday he attended physiotherapy.
Swallows acting Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Sibusiso Manana said they were hopeful that it was not a bad injury that will keep him out of action for a long time.

The national team, Sihlangu player is expected to miss Swallows’ first training session today.
“He went to the physiotherapist today (yesterday) and the full report will be back on Wednesday (tomorrow),” he said.
Swallows host the Manzini giants on Saturday at Somhlolo National Stadium, with the game starting at 4pm. Manana said entry fee for the double header that will also feature Manzini Sea Birds and Young Buffaloes will be E30.

“All the teams are campaigning for the league title and for us it will not be an easy game. We are going to work hard and make sure that we pocket the points at stake. We invite fans to come in numbers to support their teams,” he said.
Manana then urged the fans to refrain from violence. He said that was bad for football and at all times they must practice fair play.
