MBABANE – Ace golfer Nobuhle Dlamini is ready to put a frustrating outing in the NTT DATA Ladies’ Pro-Am behind her.
The Lobamba-born was forced to finish in an unfamiliar 25th place with two rounds of 77 at Fancourt in South Africa’s Western Cape Province, two days ago. This was the second tournament in the 2026 Sunshine Ladies Tour season and it had a purse of up to E2.5 million.
Dlamini shared that the challenges faced were headlined by rain delays and a last-minute venue switch.
“Tough week at the NTT DATA Ladies Pro-Am by Standard Bank.
‘‘Windy Links, rain delays and a last-minute venue switch tested us all. Grateful we got to play!
“Lessons learned from this one—back home now, working hard to be better for the next tournament. Thanks to my team, sponsors and all the support,” shared Dlamini on her official Facebook page.
Meanwhile, Germany’s Celina Sattelkau claimed back-to-back wins on the Sunshine Ladies Tour with a convincing five-stroke victory in the NTT DATA Ladies’ Pro-Am.
Sattelkau closed with a final round of 72 to win on seven-under-par, with fellow German Sophie Witt taking second place on two-under after a closing 73.
It completed an incredible start to this season’s Sunshine Ladies Tour for Sattelkau, who won the SuperSport Ladies Challenge over a week ago.
As per the tour schedule, focus shifts to the Standard Bank Ladies Open in the period March 5-7, 2026. This tournament has a prize fund of E1 million.
