NHLANGANO– Log leaders Nsingizini Hotspurs humiliated Manzini Wanderers 4-0 yesterday, leaving them  in a desperate must-win mode for their remaining eight fixtures to stay afloat.

Hotspurs made light work of the basement dwellers in a one-sided MTN Premier League clash at King Sobhuza II Memorial Stadium in Nhlangano yesterday,  scoring two goals in each half to leave Wanderers stranded on single-digit points at the bottom of the table.

The visitors remain winless in the second round. In-form South African striker Senzo ‘Mbhobho’ Ndlovu continued his scoring spree, finding the net within 20 minutes, before completing his brace late in the second half. He now has nine league goals, trailing leading scorer Hleliso Gamedze of Royal Leopard, who sits on 15.

On the stroke of half-time, Ayanda ‘Gandaganda’ Gadlela doubled the lead, before Mlungisi Hlatjwako drove the final nail into the coffin with 10 minutes to spare. Hlatjwako beat Referee Thembinkosi ‘Dovos’ Dlamini’s whistle with a cracker from the edge of the box.

The result saw ‘Insingizi YeZulu’ sink the hub giants by the same score recorded in the first leg. Mandla Qhogi’s charges now enjoy a seven-point cushion at the summit, hitting the 50-point mark and extending their unbeaten run to eight games.
