The minister said with the little resources that the ministry have committed to the country’s team, “Team Swaziland cannot be spectators in their own country. I expect them to be good hosts of the field but on the field I expect them to compete to their best of abilities and bring medals and honour to the kingdom,” she said.
She said government have also set aside E22 million towards the infrastructure and operational budget of the games. The minister further thanked the king for allowing the ministry to host the games and the support that he has given. Ndlovu said these were not just any games but they carried a legacy and each country that has hosted them has contributed to it.
