MBABANE – Umbelebele Jomo Cosmos received a 5-1 bashing from Mbabane Highlanders and will be meeting again three days from now in the final of the Top Lotto/PLS Cup.
However, the lads from Msunduza’s spirits were not dampened by their embarrassing defeat.
When the clock strikes 4pm on Sunday therefore, ‘Inkiliva’ as they are also called, will go all out to prove that their loss was a freak accident, far from repeating itself.
To show their seriousness about the match, they have decided to shift their training base from the dusty Msunduza pitch to the plush Prince of Wales Stadium. The mood was tense on Wednesday as their mentor, Harries ‘Madze’ Bulunga, was forced to abandon his national duty of leading the National Under 20 team in the Metropolitan COSAFA Cup.
