MIDRAND -DBN Gogo, a South African DJ, has made history after completing her first 24-hour non-stop DJ set at Truth Nightclub in Midrand.
The achievement earns her the title of the first female South African DJ to play a 24-hour set.
The Amapiano Queens last performance in Eswatini was three years ago at the XChange Lounge and Shisabyama where she successfully packed the venue with a sold-out show as the headlining act.
DBN Gogo, whose real name is Mandisa Radebe, has etched her name into South African music history. From midnight on April 3, to midnight on April 4, 2026 the Amapiano queen stood behind the decks for 24 hours straight with no breaks and no excuses, only spinning everything from 2000s classics to deep Amapiano cuts and unreleased tracks.
The set was a masterclass in endurance, artistry and pushing the culture forward. She shattered glass ceilings, tested her limits after nearly 10 years in the game and proved why she's one of the most influential forces in global Amapiano.
By the end, DBN Gogo got emotional, telling the crowd she poured her soul into her show and probably will not do it again ,but left her fans are still in awe.
Some Mzansi stars rolled through, the energy never dropped and the nation watched history unfold live. DBN Gogo's name is now written in permanent ink in the history books as the Queen of endurance and most definitely the Queen of Amapiano.
