MBABANE – Dala Spaces, in collaboration with MTN Bushfire, is scheduled to host the ‘Festival Style and Cocktail’ showcase at Malandela’s Lifestyle on April 29.
The event serves as a curated preview of the lifestyle and creative offerings associated with the upcoming 19th edition of the MTN Bushfire Festival.
The showcase is designed to highlight the intersection of local artisanal craftsmanship and contemporary fashion that manifests boldly in the festival’s The Barn Marketplace every year.
Central to the exhibition is the reveal of exclusive MTN Bushfire merchandise, which traditionally incorporates the festival’s 2026 theme, ‘Juncture of Hum’ and seasonal branding.
This year’s collection will be presented alongside several prominent local and regional design houses. MTN Bushfire merchandise is an extension of its Bring Your Fire call to action for positive social and environmental change.
Every piece of MTN Bushfire merchandise purchased contributes directly to boMake’s ongoing projects, which stimulate real impact for women and the youth across the rural communities of Eswatini.
Featured brands confirmed for the runway and exhibition include Honey Child Style, known for its contemporary African-inspired silhouettes; Crochet by Selu, specialising in intricate, handcrafted knitwear and textured apparel Holy Cow, a brand recognised for its unique cow print fabrics, silk items and exquisite colours.
In an interview with one of the brand owners slated to showcase at the event, Seluliwe Mdluli, the owner of Crochet by Selu, mentioned that they are excited about the upcoming event especially because they will be able to showcase their work and reach a wider audience.
