MBABANE - The National Arts and Culture Awards (NACA) has announced the appointment of Mr Thamsanqa "KrTC" Sibandze as the Official Chairperson for the 2026 awards.
Mr Sibandze is a familiar face within the NACA organisation. Having served as a host, facilitator and ambassador for the awards in 2024, he successfully toured all four regions of the country. During his tenure, he engaged deeply with artists, stakeholders and local communities, significantly elevating the profile of the ceremony nationwide.
As he takes the reins of the NACA committee for 2026, he brings a wealth of experience, exceptional leadership and a profound understanding of the creative industry. His expertise spans both on-stage and behind-the-scenes operations, making him uniquely qualified to steer the awards into a successful new era.
The organisation expressed immense confidence in his appointment, stating that his leadership will ensure NACA 2026 continues to celebrate excellence, empower artists, strengthen cultural development and create greater opportunities for the creative sector.
