MBABANE – Award-winning Amapiano sensation Uncle Waffles has once again captured attention at the Louis Vuitton Menswear Spring Summer 2026 show in Paris.

This marks her second attendance at such a prestigious event, reflecting her rising influence on the global stage. The show, part of Paris Fashion Week, was overseen by none other than Pharrell Williams, the Creative Director responsible for the latest collection.

Uncle Waffles drew admiration in a Louis Vuitton Cotton Jacquard Vest valued at over R26 000, paired with a crisp white long-sleeve shirt buttoned to the top. Her look was completed with a short, curly platinum blonde wig, adding a striking touch to her ensemble. Her appearance highlights the growing presence of Swati talent in international fashion and entertainment circles.

The local DJ was seen interacting with Pharrell Williams himself and she also spent time with American film director Spike Lee, Thai rapper BamBam and South African model Lebo Malope, who appeared on the runway. Actor Miles Caton was also among the guests present. Uncle Waffles shared her enthusiasm on Instagram, posting: “Mind you Beyoncé was there and I literally lost it internally because I’d never want to overwhelm her when she’s already overwhelmed. One day.”

Her attendance alongside global icons like Beyoncé showcases the expanding reach of the Amapiano movement and African cultural influence. Attending such high-profile events benefits not only the individual artists but also highlights Swati talent on the world stage. Uncle Waffles’ presence at the Louis Vuitton show reinforces her status as a prominent ambassador for Swati music and culture.

Louis Vuitton unveiled its Men’s Spring-Summer 2026 collection at the Place Georges Pompidou in Paris, and while Pharrell Williams delivered another head-turning runway show, the real style spectacle happened before a single model even took the catwalk. With a front row as packed as the Pompidou plaza itself, the guest list was star-studded, eclectic and as ever brimming with fashion talking points.
