MBABANE – Manzini Sea Birds winger Mayibongwe ‘Suarez’ Mabuza has a tough decision to make, if reports surrounding his name are anything to go by.

It is said the versatile player has attracted interest from Zimbabwe’s CAF Confederation Cup-bound side Dynamos and Simba Bhora. Mabuza is said to have left Eswatini last weekend for assessments with Simba Bhora. This is the same outfit that faced Nsingizini Hotspurs, his former team in the TotalEnergies Confederation of African Football (CAF) Champions League preliminary round last season. He is expected back in the country today after completing the session of his trials.

Reports indicate that Simba Bhora had tabled a two-year deal with the player excluding monetary terms. However, he allegedly turned down the side. This was when Dynamos’ contacted him though they are yet to table a formal offer for his services. After finding out about Dynamos plans, Bhora have since increased their offer, leaving Mabuza with a reported tough decision to make.

The player has until July 1 to make a decision. That is when the Zimbabwe mid-season transfer window will reportedly open. If he ends up signing with one of these two sides, then Eswatini’s football export tally in Zimbabwe alone will stretch to seven. Two former Nsingizini players Thubelihle Mavuso and Yekisizwe ‘Madumane’ Khumalo recently joined Hardrock. They joined Neliswa ‘Tiger’ Dlamini and Sambulo ‘Masoso’ Simelane at this outfit. Meanwhile, Newman ‘Strong’ Philiso is contracted to elite league rookies Agama. Additionally, Kwakhe ‘Stopper’ Thwala plies his trade with Scottland.
