MBABANE – Young African have promised a stunning comeback against Royal Leopard in the return leg of the CAF Confederation Cup.

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) clash is scheduled to kick off at 3pm at Somhlolo National Stadium. Speaking yesterday during a pre-match interview at the fixture’s venue, Young African Coach Nicholas Jacobs vowed that his team would score, while simultaneously, preventing ‘Ingwe Mabalabala’ from finding the net.

“We are behind 2-0 and in Africa away goals still count, which is an advantage. But this is a new 90 minutes where we are now aware of Leopard. We’ve got nothing to lose; the pressure is on Leopard as they have to protect their lead,” Jacobs said.

He predicted that Edwin Matsebula’s side would face a dilemma, having to choose between defending their lead or attacking, as Young African aim to unsettle them early on.

The coach added that his team had nothing to complain about, noting they are well-rested and have successfully acclimatised since arriving in the country on Tuesday.

In the previous fixture, they partly blamed fatigue, having arrived in Francistown 18 hours before the game.

“We have prepared well for them as they are dangerous with Felix Badenhorst, their Captain (Muzi ‘Mzoro’ Dlamini), and their number 11 (Thokozani ‘Thikithi’ Dlamini),” the coach noted.
