MANZINI – Eswatini international and Orbit College left-back Thulani Jingana is reportedly out of contract.
This follows the relegation of his team back to the Motsepe Foundation Championship after a season in the Betway Premiership. Jingana joined Orbit in 2022 just after his trials with Manzini hub giants Manzini Wanderers proved to be unsuccessful at the start of the 2021/22 season.
During this time, Wanderers were still under the tutelage of Terisayi Changara. The full-back confirmed that he was currently out of contract. “Currently, I’m like a free agent. It is true that my contract with Orbit College has concluded. I am open to possible offers,” he said.
Notably, South Africa’s leagues are expected to begin pre-season early next month in preparation for the new football calendar.
The Sihlangu and Orbit College left-back was instrumental when his team gained promotion to the Betway Premiership via the play-offs.
The reliable left-back, who hails from Mbutfu at Lubulini, surprised the local football fraternity when his name was drafted into the final squad that lost 2-0 away in Morocco to unranked Eritrea in March, as he is not known in local football circles.
