Masitsela's speech impresses the king
MANZINI – His Majesty the King was so impressed with the charismatic Prince Masitsela’s speech he ordered a round of applause for him.
The Manzini Regional Administrator had delivered a strong worded address that touched on His Majesty’s immaculate conflict resolution ability through dialogue.
The senior royal family member recognised the king for bringing killings to an end in Madagascar and Zimbabwe, which he said His Majesty was able to achieve through prayers to God. The prince also touched on the Tinkhundla system of governance, which he said was the most democratic of all.
“World countries should copy from the Tinkhundla system on how to attain peace like we’ve done here in Swaziland,” said the prince.
He added that whoever was opposed to the system had to give explanations as to how they envisaged their opposition would develop Swaziland.
As the prince concluded his speech and returned to sit at the king’s table, His Majesty ordered that he be applauded.
Even though not everyone heard the order, Prime Minister Sibusiso Barnabas Dlamini, when introducing the king, thanked His Majesty for ordering the applause and said he hoped to be also applauded should his speech be deemed good as well.
Indeed, such words sent the participants into great applause for the PM.
