Clubbers get Freaky in the club on Friday
MBABANE – DJ MBO, who is also known as the European DJ, got the party started during the ‘Freaky Friday’ show at Café de Flore on Friday.
The deejay mesmerised the crowd with his choice of tracks which ranged from house, kwaito and pop music and he added the cherry on top by mixing two of these genres into one track.
Mbo also managed to lure the crowd onto the dance floor. Prior to his performance, people were either sitting down, standing outside the club or mingling. Only a few were on the dance floor.
However, after about twenty minutes into his set, fun lovers were packed on the dancefloor and it was obvious that he had been the right choice to headline the party.
DJ Tempt, who played after DJ MBO, managed to keep fun lovers on the dance floor with his selection of music. As usual, he played a cocktail of music genres including hip hop, kwaito and house. He also proved to be in a league of his own.
DJ Crooks and Papz also got a chance on the turntables and they played their best but that was before there were many people in the club.
At first, it looked like the wet weather had got the better of the clubbers by making many of them stay at home, but as time went by, people started flocking into the club. At first, many preferred the smoking zone of the club, but as they got to the spirit of things – they started getting their groove on and shaking the cold off on the dance floor.
They stayed in the club until the early hours of the morning.
Three fun-lovers managed to win themselves T-shirts from ‘Play’d Out’ clothing, during the show for dressing funky and spotting funky hairstyles.
