SNBA school league semis on Saturday

MBABANE – Waterford and St Mark’s basketball teams have qualified to play in the top eight of the schools league.

The Waterford team that has qualified is the girls’ team while the St Mark’s team is the boys’ squad.

The two qualified after Ka-Boyce High School pulled out of the league hence forfeiting their points.
The league which began last term took a break when pupils wrote their second term exams. The top eight teams both boys and girls squads will be playing on Saturday.

Boys

In the boys section the teams are Bahai’, Enjabulweni, St Mark’s, St Christophers, Evelyn Baring, Lusoti, St John Bosco and Phoenix.
The girls’ top eight teams are Bahai’, St Christophers, Evelyn Baring, Waterford, Enjabulweni, St Michaels, Lusoti and Phoenix.

In each group four teams will advance to the semi finals which will be played on October 3 subsequently leading to the finals.
Evelyn Baring High School teams will be battling it out with Enjabulweni High School in the semi finals.
Bahai’ girl’s team will be playing against St Christo-phers while their boy’s team will be facing their neigh-bours St John Bosco High.
