MBABANE — Kufeziwe Communications has finalised its backing vocal team ahead of the highly anticipated Gospel show on July 5, 2026.
After an intense selection process dubbed ‘Final group Kufeziwe’, the communications company confirmed the 12 local vocalists who will perform on stage. The group brings together some of Eswatini’s strongest Choral talent across Soprano, Alto and Tenor sections. These backing vocalists will support local artists billed to perform alongside South African Gospel star Dr Tumi.
The local line-up includes Linda Dlamini, Sphiwo Ndoni, Nelly Siwela, Nothando Dlamini and Shekinah Motsa. The event is scheduled to take place at Mbabane Alliance.
The announcement has been met with excitement from music fans and the Gospel community. The vocalists were judged by an esteemed panel of adjudicators including Mnqobi Maseko, Thamie ‘Pastor Bae’ Ndlovu, Mzayoni Tsabedze, Tanele Shongwe and Sanele Simelane. The competitive auditions were held at the Manzini Arts and Culture Studios.
With a signature live sound and this newly-assembled team, the July 5 performance is shaping up to be one of the major highlights on the Gospel calendar this year. Speaking on behalf of Kufeziwe Communications, Linda Dlamini praised the standard of musical talent available in the country, noting that Emaswati are exceptionally gifted. “July 5 people will experience something amazing,” Dlamini said.
