MBABANE – The Bokamoso Arts Institute has invited the Mbabane Methodist Church Choir (MMCC) and the Manzini Choir to headline its fifth annual prayer service.
The event is scheduled to take place from February 14 to 15, 2026 at Mabopane Industrial, South Africa. The two-day service marks a milestone for the Institute, which has established this annual gathering as a fixture in the Choral music fraternity.
The annual prayer sets the ground for the year for the institute. The institute is known for music production and choral artistry and is part of the Tiro Mpane Foundation National Choral Eisteddfod. The institute also organises events such as the Conductors Extravaganza. The Bokamoso Arts Institute is led by Tiro Mpane who will also be a keynote speaker during the event.
The MMCC and the Manzini Choir were part of the Tiro Mpane Foundation National Choral Eisteddfod competitions held in Sun City in December 2025. For the MMCC, their participation follows a trend of appearances at South African festivals and performances at the Buang Moloto Choral Festival where they won a grand prize of E100 000. Their performance during the prayer service will mark their second year as confirmed by the Eswatini National Choral Music Association Public Relations Officer Mlungisi Dlamini.
