2026 promises to be a fruitful year for local musicians as yet another Eswatini talented rapper joins Kopton Music to open more doors for his music to be featured on a global stage.
Sibusiso Malambe, professionally known as Grixxly, is the third local artist to join the unstoppable force of Kopton Music. In an exclusive interview with the musician, he revealed he was elated to join the agency as this would open a number of opportunities for him and grow his career. “Being part of the Kopton family is literally a life changing opportunity for me and my music as I am certain that this platform will grow my reach. There will be more eyes and ears on my work and music that has the potential of taking me to a global stage,” he said. Grixxly is a liSwati Hip Hop artist and producer who began his career in his schooling years after joining a Rap group.
The rapper then discovered his love for the Hip Hop genre and has since become the first Swati artist to be featured on Apple Music’s Nadeska show.
Grixxly also mentioned that Kopton Music has worked with a number of reputable brands, such as Netflix, that are already globally acclaimed. “This means that I also have the opportunity of getting my music to be auditioned for shows if fit and that will open more doors for me as a musician,” he said.
