MBABANE – Local Gospel music sensation Nothando Hlophe has cemented her position as a major force in the Gospel music industry with the monumental success of her latest single, ‘Methodist Medley’. 

The track, from her new album ‘A New Dawn’, was recorded on 7 June 2025 at the Mavuso Trade and Exhibition Centre and has quickly made waves on social media, amassing an impressive 1 million views on YouTube. The song was a surprise drop that captivated many of Hlophe’s fans, who responded enthusiastically across various platforms. 

While current figures indicate that ‘Methodist Medley’ has reached 1 million views within days of its release and continues to climb, this rapid growth strongly indicates the song’s widespread appeal and Nothando Hlophe’s dedicated fan base.

From the moment she announced the song’s availability on digital platforms, fans have been using the sound in TikTok challenges, playing it in their cars and commenting on her Facebook page that the song has become their anthem. 

Expressing her excitement about the milestone when the song hit 100 000 views four days ago, Nothando Hlophe said: “100 thousand views!
