MBABANE – The Eswatini International Trade Fair gave everyone a wonderful time, with organisers curating the perfect line-up for all age groups.

On Saturday, the gate opened as early as 10am and the grounds were already buzzing with activity from the children playing games and the music from the DJ’s was already warming up the crowd for a great day. Saturday’s line-up started very early, as the first headlining act of the day, South African Musician, Aymos was scheduled to play at 1pm. The musician indeed arrived at Mavuso and took to the stage half an hour later than the scheduled time.

Aymos broke the ice and pulled the crowd from every corner right to the front of the mainstage as he murmured his lyrics for ‘Sengizwile’ that captured the crowd’s attention. Screams from both children and adults signalled that the star was already on the stage. He performed all his bangers and also dedicated his hit song ‘Mama’ to one lady from the crowd and thanked all mothers for their unwavering love and support that they show to their children.

In an interview with the star, he said that the love he received humbled him deeply. “Oh, my heart is so content. This was lovely, I was very happy to see even the little ones creaming all my lyrics, this has to one of the best shows for me this year, children have my whole heart.

I also love the idea of the event. It is family-oriented and everyone came to have fun, with the children enjoying games, adults visiting different stalls and the youth enjoying the music, everyone is well catered for,” he said.
