Treetops Resort hosts 2 Fast 2 Furious cycling event

Cycling in Eswatini continues to draw hundreds of enthusiasts each year and the recently held 2 Fast 2 Furious Road Cycling event at Treetops Game Resort was no exception. Hosted at their stunning facility, the event showcased the vibrant spirit of the local cycling community, hosting international cyclists from Lesotho, South Africa and Mozambique.

Director Muziwandile Dlamini welcomed participants and encouraged everyone to return to Treetops, highlighting the resort’s new spa facilities, swimming facilities, game excursions, paintballing (new feature) and quad-bike riding across its sprawling length span of about 4km to the river’s edge.

The event was a celebration of inclusivity, featuring an exciting off-road children’s cycle race and a trail run that got everyone involved, from young adventurers to seasoned athletes. The atmosphere buzzed with energy as families and competitors alike, enjoyed the activities on offer.

Khuba Traders played a key role in keeping the cyclists hydrated and motivated, hosting an enthusiastic water table at the KaLanga/Lukhula Junction. The dedicated team from Khuba Traders brought infectious energy, cheering on participants and leaving a lasting impression on all who passed through. “Our vibrant support added to the event’s success, embodying the community spirit of service that makes Khuba Traders special.”

Additionally, at the start/finish line, Khuba Traders set up a vibrant stall where they sold bicycle spares, accessories and provided on-the-spot bicycle servicing, ensuring riders were fully equipped and ready to tackle the course.

Treetops Game Resort’s 2 Fast 2 Furious event was a dynamic showcase of sport, community and hospitality and Khuba Traders was honoured to contribute to its success.
