EZULWINI – Prime Minister Russell Mmiso Dlamini has called on African delegates to turn discussions on food security into immediate action capable of delivering practical results.
Addressing AU officials, agriculture ministers, and diplomats at the summit, Dlamini highlighted that securing food supplies directly affects the continent’s sovereignty and dignity.
“From the seed we shall secure the harvests, from the harvests we shall nourish our peoples, and from the nourishment of our peoples we shall strengthen the sovereignty, dignity and prosperity of our fellow continent,” he said.
The prime minister commended the presence of African leaders, members of Parliament, diplomats, and development partners, noting that their collective engagement is critical to building resilient agricultural systems capable of withstanding environmental pressures.
