MBABANE – Let the countdown begin!

The House Musiq Fest, one of Eswatini’s premier House music celebrations, left social media streets on fire on Friday afternoon with the first unveiling of their line-up.

Among the first phase to be revealed were South African sensations C-black and SGVO.

DJ C-Blak, the man behind the anthems, is headlining the energy at House MusiQ Fest. Real name, Siyabonga Skhondo, hails from Balfour, a small township in Mpumalanga. Renowned for his exceptional music production and captivating vocals, he gained prominence with hit songs like ‘Asambe’ and ‘Ulele’ featuring some of South Africa's top artists. SGVO, one of the top Deep House producers in the World. Born and raised in the city of Witbank, Mpumalanga. SGVO became fascinated by African music and synth sound creation at a very young age. This rapidly developed into a passion for Djing that in turn fuelled his desire to produce tracks for his sets.

Vasco and De-dang were the first acts to drop, stepping up to set the tone for the purest House music experience in the Kingdom .The kings of Afro House, Knoxnman and Crashmaster were also locked in, turning Manzini Club into a vibe cathedral on March 28. DJ cup will also take the decks, getting everyone ready for non-stop energy, heavy bass and pure fire.

Organised by Swazi Boy Entertainment, the festival returns on March 28, 2026, promising another unforgettable weekend of beats, cultural vibes and community energy.

House Musiq Fest has grown steadily since its inception, evolving into a cornerstone event on Eswatini’s entertainment calendar. Past editions, including the 2025 festival held over late March at Manzini Club, drew crowds for non-stop grooves featuring renowned South African acts like Vinny Da Vinci, Brandon Dhludhlu, Oscar Mbo and Thakzin, alongside homegrown favourites. The event has solidified its status as a vibrant platform for Afro-House, Deep House and broader House music culture, fostering connections among music enthusiasts while spotlighting Eswatini’s growing role in the regional scene.

Organisers have teased that the 2026 edition will elevate the experience further, with innovations such as fan-voting mechanisms for local DJ inclusions, which ran earlier this year via votes through MoMo or Instacash helping to shape the line-up. This approach shows HMF’s commitment to community involvement, ensuring the festival reflects the tastes and energy of its audience.
