MBABANE — Local entertainment powerhouse Gems of Africa has officially announced a partnership with leading hair care brand Lush Hair Eswatini.

As part of the landmark collaboration, rising stars and Gems of Africa artists Sergy and Stella Jacobs have been unveiled as the official brand ambassadors for Lush Hair Eswatini.

Under the terms of the partnership, Lush Hair Eswatini will exclusively handle all grooming and styling needs for Gems of Africa’s roster of artists and dancers. From high-energy stage performances and music videos to glossy photo shoots and red-carpet public appearances, the performers will sport Lush Hair’s signature looks.

Management at Gems of Africa praised the synergy between the two organizations, “Lush Hair represents quality, beauty, and confidence, which aligns perfectly with what Gems of Africa stands for. Sergy and Stella are the perfect faces to lead this partnership. This is African beauty at its finest and we are excited for what is to come.”

The partnership was born out of a proactive, professional pitch. Recognizing shared values in brand identity, Gems of Africa approached the hair care giant with a comprehensive proposal demonstrating how Sergy and Stella would deliver measurable, long-term value beyond serving as traditional figureheads. Impressed by their stellar work ethic and clear vision, Lush Hair Eswatini jumped at the opportunity to invest in local creative talent.

For the Jacobs duo, the endorsement marks a career-defining moment and a milestone of years of dedication. Sharing her excitement, Stella Jacobs reflected on the event:

“This milestone means a lot to us. It shows that our hard work as Gems of Africa is paying off. To be trusted by a big brand like Lush Hair Eswatini as their official ambassadors is a huge honour and a big responsibility that proves we are growing not just as artists, but as brands.”

This announcement marks the second major corporate coup for Gems of Africa this year, following closely on the heels of their official partnership with local taxi network Lusitohub.
