MBABANE – Seasoned poet and musician Msandi Kababa is preparing to release a new single titled ‘The Year of the Promised Land’.

The upcoming track draws deep inspiration from His Majesty King Mswati III.

Msandi Kababa explains that the song is more than just a title. ‘‘This is a declaration inspired by His Majesty King Mswati III during the National Prayer Service which was recently hosted at Lozitha Palace. This song is born from a place of hope, struggle and vision. It speaks to everyone who has ever waited, prayed or fought for a breakthrough. 2025 is not just another year. This is the year where the long-awaited dreams start to unfold. It is the year where faith meets fulfilment, where wandering ends and purpose begins. This is the year of the promise land,’’ he said.

He also urged fans to embrace the new release wholeheartedly. ‘‘Whether you’re stepping into new beginnings, reclaiming your voice or simply believing again, this song is your anthem. Let us open our hearts, raise our hands and walk into the promise land,’’ he added.

The single is set to launch on July 7 and will be accessible across all major streaming platforms including Spotify, iTunes, Deezer, YouTube Music and others. It was recorded at Eternity Studios and Dem Dem Studios. The track was produced by Siyabonga Hlekani. This release follows his recent song ‘Say No to Child Abuse’ which was launched on May 25.

Msandi Kababa also took the opportunity to thank his supporters. ‘‘I would like to thank all my fans and everyone for being there, I really appreciate it. I would also like to thank my family and especially Siyalu Entertainment for believing in me,’’ he said.

Msandi Kababa’s new single is expected to resonate deeply with many. It carries a message of hope and resilience, reinforcing the power of faith and purpose as the nation anticipates a promising future.
