MBABANE – A total of 19 Talent ‘n’ Motion dancers have been confirmed to participate in the upcoming Dance World Cup Qualifiers set for South Africa (SA).
The complete list of the dancers has been publicly released on the Talent ‘n’ Motion Facebook page. When asked for confirmation, Talent ‘n’ Motion Director Velile Dube affirmed the selection.
“Yes, this is the final list that has been entered,” Dube stated.
The confirmed dancers include Amone Landman, Asande Gama, Awana Nxumalo, Ayah Dlamini, Elihle Masinga, Jada Dlamini, Kitso Makgeledisa and a further 12 artists.
In August this year, Dube shared that the Dance World Cup Qualifiers would now take place this month in South Africa at Lewende Woord Centurion from October 27 to November 1 this year.
Following the qualifiers, the finals are scheduled for Dublin, Ireland from July 8 to July 18, 2026.
Dube explained the sudden shift in schedule created an intense preparation period. “We held auditions at Talent ‘n’ Motion Academy under the impression that the Dance World Cup Qualifiers would take place next year in March, as has been the case in previous years. Qualifiers are usually in March, with finals in June and July in the same year.
