The Bible says: “For the living know that they will one day die, but the dead know nothing, neither have they any more reward; for the memory of them is forgotten” (Ecclesiastes 9:4-5). Many Christians believe that when we die, we immediately go to Heaven or we go to Hell. Unfortunately, this is not what the Bible teaches and I will take some time to explain it using verses that are in plain sight.
The truth is that when we die, we sleep and await Judgment Day. We neither go to Heaven, nor to Hell, or to Hades or walk around the Earth in physical (imikhobo) nor spiritual (tipoko /ghosts) beings. We simply return and rest in the dust from which we came. The breath of God returns to God, with all the data of your life, to await judgment.
Simple. In Daniel 12:13, God, speaking to one of his most trusted prophets, Daniel, says: “Go and rest, Daniel, until the end, when you will rise again to receive your inheritance set aside for you.” This basically means all our loved ones who passed away last week, five years ago or even 30 years ago are resting in the dust of the earth, awaiting judgment for their deeds while on earth.
When Judgment Day comes, it will be like they only slept yesterday, even if thousands of years have gone by, as in the case of Daniel. The entities (ghosts and the like) we see are fallen spiritual beings from other dimensions, a discussion for another day.
What will happen on Judgement Day?
The Bible says there will be a transformation that will occur very quickly. 1 Corinthians 15:52 says: ‘In the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet, the dead shall rise with incorruptible new spiritual bodies and they shall be changed’. At the end of time, every human being who has died will arise, or his or her breath of God will be allocated a new pure spiritual body, with a new mind capable of understanding highly sophisticated intelligence about the workings of our galaxy, our Universe and indeed the whole cosmos.
Equipped with this new body and mind, we will then be shown the role we played in the advancement or retraction of the human race. We will receive knowledge from highly intelligent beings, who have evolved through millions of years and have been able to master all forms of energy and manipulation to the extent that they don’t need physical bodies as they are spiritual.
Even within the higher spiritual intellectual levels, there are different higher dimensions of beings who fight in the great controversy between good and evil, purity and corruption. Jesus walked through walls, proving that He was from another dimension, which had high intelligence but was present to help us grow in moral and spiritual intelligence.
Let’s talk about hell
What is Hell? Is Hell a physical place or a state of mind? We have established that at this level, the physical corruptible bodies are no longer in use. We are now using spiritual incorruptible bodies. This would suggest that the notion that there will be physical ‘burning’ is totally wrong. What is this torment?
Hell is the realisation that your life on the balance of scales has brought more ‘harm’ than good to the growth of the human race and the whole planet.
This might sound trivial and simple to me and you now with our little minds and with no understanding of the workings of the Universe, but once we are given that knowledge, we will see things so differently.
We will understand that what one does in their lifetime has a domino effect on the whole of humanity, for thousands of years to come. Each human being is like a building block. Just like a cell that divides within the body to create more cells to grow. The DNA contained within each cell is passed on just like the generations of humans pass on their knowledge and experiences, bringing humanity closer or further away from perfection.
The end goal is for humanity to achieve perfection, as a whole. Other species have achieved this perfection in the Universe.
When you kill a person physically or spiritually who was to give birth to a future scientist, who was to invent the cure to cancer, you pull humanity back; and this information will be revealed to you on judgment day.
Adolf Hitler killed lots of scientists and put humanity back hundreds of years. He will be shown the effects of his actions, and with a new, clean heart, this will be devastating to him for eternity.
There will be nothing he can do, so this torment will be his ‘hell’. The movie of your terrible deeds on Earth will be played repeatedly before the host of pure heavenly beings and the shame and guilt will never leave you.
Heaven will be marvellous
For those who are found eligible for Heaven, a great adventure awaits them. They would have received their heavenly spiritual bodies. Just as a child in its mother’s womb develops organs and limbs in readiness for the world.
Some of the scientists and great humanitarians who have laboured in research and work to better humanity on Earth will shine like bright stars in Heaven. Simple mothers who sacrificed their lives to bring up children who went on to save humanity will be rewarded. Matthew 13:43 states: ‘The righteous will shine like the sun in the kingdom of their father (in Heaven)’and Daniel 12:3 talks about those who have insight will shine brightly like the brightness of the expanse of Heaven. The verse also talks about those who lead many to righteousness also shining like stars forever and ever.
So basically, Heaven is not simply a physical place of constant singing and praising, but a deep understanding of celestial truths; where humanity has achieved the highest level of consciousness to the extent that we are considered safe to be allowed to join the rest of the ‘adult’ beings within the Universe.
We will be able to access incredible technology, travel the galaxies and help other younger species achieve great consciousness through spiritual growth. Young species are not allowed to get knowledge and intelligence before they are ready, hence the simplified story of the sin of the serpent in the Garden of Eden.
They ate from the Tree of Knowledge before their time, and so the Tree of Life, which provided mortality, was taken away. Imperfect beings could not be allowed to live forever. Comment septembereswatini@gmail.com
