MBABANE – Once again, the US Embassy has instructed Rexy’s Investments (Pty) Ltd to conduct a major public auction that will feature quality items ranging from motor vehicles to household items.
The auction, which was scheduled for October 8, 2025, was postponed to this coming Wednesday at the US Embassy compound, Kent Rock, Mbabane, starting promptly at 10am. Items up for grabs include vehicles, electronic equipment, appliances and a wide assortment of office and household furniture. The list of vehicles on offer is expected to attract strong interest, with two 2017 Chevrolet Trailblazers and a 2020 Kia Picanto forming the highlight of the motor section. There are also plenty of almost new motor vehicle tyres for different cars. For business operators and institutions, a range of electronic items such as monitors, CPUs, printers, copiers and laptops will also be available.
The auction catalogue extends to high-quality household and office furniture, including:
- China cabinets
- Office chairs
- Chest of drawers
- Queen and single beds with headboards
- Dressers
- Nightstands
- Dining tables with chairs
- Buffets
- Sofas
- Coffee tables
- Mirrors
- TV stands.
Buyers can also expect to bid on modern appliances such as:
- Refrigerators
- Freezers
- Washing machines
- Dryers, microwaves
- Air purifiers
According to Rexy’s Investments, interested bidders are required to pay a refundable registration deposit of E5 000 for vehicles and E2 000 for other items.
Payments may be made at Rexy’s Investments’ offices in Matsapha (Shiselweni Avenue, Lot 613, Warehouse No. 2 opposite Matsapha Central Garage) or on the auction day at Kent Rock from 8am.
A public viewing session will be held on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, from 10am to 3:30pm at the US Embassy compound in Kent Rock, Mbabane.
