The spectacular evening, held at The Luke Commission (TLC) Auditorium on November 29, saw the revered artist walk away with multiple top honours, capping an already phenomenal, year marked by her international breakthrough.

Hlophe’s win follows her recent, historic victory, where she clinched the coveted Best of Africa Gospel Artist Award at the 18th Crown Gospel Music Awards in South Africa.

Hlophe’s triumphs in the major categories were the undeniable highlight of Best Gospel Artist, Best Gospel Song of the Year for her viral hit, ‘Methodist Medley’ and Best Gospel Album for her critically acclaimed project, ‘A New Dawn.’ Acting Deputy Prime Minister Sikhumbuzo Dlamini delivering his speech during the awards acknowledged Nothando Hlophe’s win stating:  “Just six days ago, on Sunday, the 23rd of history was made when Nothando Hlophe won the 2025 Best of Africa award. In her acceptance speech, delivered to a standing ovation, Hlophe was visibly emotional, dedicating her awards to her fans and the spiritual community. “This is not just a win for me; it is a win for you, Thank you for supporting this journey and for believing in the calling upon my life.
