MBABANE – The local RnB artist has announced the release of her latest single, ‘Apologise’, which is now available across all major digital streaming platforms.

The local vocal powerhouse Mandisa Mamba is officially back on the airwaves. She took a two-year break to focus on other aspects of her life and growth as an artist.

Far from a standard ballad, ‘Apologise’ serves as a creative milestone for Mamba. The track is a sophisticated fusion of smooth RnB melodies and the driving, rhythmic pulse of 3-step, a sub-genre of House music.

While many breakup or conflict-driven tracks focus on a singular perspective, Mamba describes ‘Apologise’ as a more nuanced piece of storytelling. According to the artist, the lyrics represent one side of a larger, ongoing dialogue.

“In this song, you hear one side of the story, but it is a conversation,” Mamba explained, hinting at the lyrical depth.

For Mamba, this release is about more than just a new hook; it is a professional affirmation. The artist has been openly experimenting with the 3-step sound and she views ‘Apologise’ as the ultimate validation of this musical evolution.

In October last year, the artist released her single ‘Echo’ which surpassed 16 000 views in just two weeks of its release. Apart from music, Mamba is an actress, popularly known for her role ‘Queen Choshile’ in the ‘Baka Ngwane’ film. She also owns her handbag brand called Regal.

Her future plans are to keep doing what she loves, creating.

“I want to continue growing both as a musician and actress, telling stories that inspire and connect with people. Musically, I plan to release more singles and eventually, a full project that truly reflects who I am as an artist today. In acting, I’m excited to take on more challenging and diverse roles that allow me to explore different facets of womanhood and African storytelling. Ultimately, my goal is to keep evolving and using my gifts to impact lives in meaningful ways,” she said.
