In a world filled with uncertainty, challenges and shifting values, there remains one place of unshakable strength: The altar of prayer. It is at the altar where burdens are lifted, chains are broken and lives are restored.
Recognising the power of gathering in God’s presence, the Free Evangelical Assemblies in Luyengo, under the leadership of Reverend Alex Mngomezulu, invites the nation to a transformative night of prayer titled ‘The Strong Altar.’ This powerful event is set for September 19, starting at 7pm until late.
Traditionally held in June, this year’s gathering has been rescheduled, creating even greater anticipation among believers across Eswatini. ‘The Strong Altar’ is more than just a church programme, it is a spiritual encounter designed to reignite faith, renew strength and unite the community in worship and intercession.
The event will feature a dynamic line-up of respected men of God who will lead sessions of prayer, teaching and prophetic encouragement. These include Reverend Sokhela, Reverend Ngcobo and Apostle Mntungwa from South Africa, together with Eswatini’s own Bishop Zechariah Mthethwa. Their collective voices promise a night filled with powerful messages of hope, healing and breakthrough.
The Free Evangelical Assemblies, a church rooted in Evangelical-Pentecostal tradition, remains committed to spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ and proclaiming the whole counsel of God.
Through events like ‘The Strong Altar’, the church seeks to provide a platform for believers and seekers alike to encounter God in a personal way, build stronger faith and deepen their sense of belonging in the body of Christ.
