Patrick wins Ubombo MTN Monthly Masters

MBABANE – Patrick Tsela held his nerve to claim the Ubombo MTN Monthly Masters title.

Tsela finishing tied on 37 points at Ubombo Golf and Country Club on Saturday.

Tsela edged out Nathi Tsabedze and Colani Dlamini, who also carded 37 points, with the winner decided on a countback.

Tsabedze settled for second, while Dlamini took third. Welcome Vilane finished fourth on 35 points, with Sabelo Masuku claiming fifth on the same tally.

The tournament produced a tightly-contested leaderboard, with the top three separated only by the countback.

The novelties also saw strong performances. Mthokozisi Mthingila claimed closest to the pin on the first/10^th hole, while Audrey Mkhonta won the accolade on the fourth/13^th. Nosimilo Kgomo took closest to the pin on the fifth/14^th.

Masuku completed his strong showing by claiming the longest-drive prize.
