Manzini creatives celebrated with NACA certificates

MANZINI – The last round of the regional National Arts and Culture Awards (NACAs) ended on a high note in Manzini with creatives receiving their certificates.

Manzini Mayor Xolani Masuku expressed appreciation for the region’s creative community, while commending the Eswatini National Council of Arts and Culture (ENCAC) for creating a platform that recognises and celebrates local talent through the Manzini NACA Regional Awards.

Speaking during the awards ceremony held at Millennium Park, Masuku recognised the contribution of artists and cultural practitioners to the identity and development of Manzini. He also highlighted the importance of acknowledging creatives whose work continues to bring entertainment, culture and artistic expression to communities.

ENCAC CEO, Stanley Dlamini delivered a speech at the Manzini Regional Awards, expressing appreciation for the region’s creatives and recognising their contribution to the arts and cultural landscape. He commended artists and cultural practitioners for continuing to showcase their talent and enrich Eswatini’s creative industry.

The Manzini NACA Regional Awards formed part of a wider effort to celebrate creativity across the region, with the ceremony bringing together established names and emerging artists. The event also provided an opportunity for government, local authorities and arts stakeholders to engage with creatives and recognise their contribution to Eswatini’s cultural and entertainment industries.
