Eswatini’s biggest music, bike weekend countdown begins

MBABANE- The roar of engines is about to meet the roar of the crowd.

The 33rd edition of the Swazi Rally is set for August 28 to 30, 2026, at Riders Ranch in Sidvokodvo, and organisers are making it clear: This year, local talent takes centre stage.

Alongside South African headliners K.O and Stookie, the rally has unveiled a massive lineup of 16+ local acts, who will bring the heat all weekend. The list includes Bloss, Bisto, Cnatra, Yamkela, Knoxman, Mpumuzo, Sbu De Drum DJ, Acoustic Soul, Ndumz, Mafaka, Master P, Sergy, Sancheziey, Salukazana, King Don and L Keys. “The countdown to Swazi Rally 2026 just got even better. We’re proud to showcase some incredible local talent, who’ll be bringing the energy to this year’s rally,” organisers announced on social media.

“Get ready for an unforgettable weekend of music, bikes, and entertainment.” What started 33 years ago as a gathering for motorcycle enthusiasts has grown into one of Eswatini’s biggest August events. Hundreds of bikers from Eswatini, South Africa, Mozambique, Botswana, Zimbabwe and beyond will still ride in for the custom bikes, long-distance runs and camping. But the Swazi Rally is no longer just for bikers. With kids’ shows, cultural ensembles, and a full music programme timed to coincide with the Umhlanga Reed Dance, it has evolved into a national festival that celebrates both horsepower and homegrown talent. For local artists, it’s a rare opportunity to perform for a crowd of thousands. For fans, it’s three days of bikes by day and big performances by night.
