MANZINI — Nsingizini Hotspurs dismantled a struggling Manzini Wanderers 4-0 yesterday, storming to the summit of the MTN Premier League while leaving the hosts in Christmas despair.

A crowd of over 1 000 spectators, including Eswatini Sport and Recreation Council (ESRC) Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Darius Dlomo and Sihlangu Manager Dumisani Sibandze, witnessed a clinical Nsingizini performance. The victory moves the Shiselweni-based outfit to 25 points, keeping them firmly in the hunt for the E120 000 first-round incentive, with only three games remaining. Conversely, the ‘Weslians’ remain rooted to the foot of the table with just six points, their winless drought now exceeding a month.

The visitors signalled their intent early. While Wanderers Skipper Linda Msibi initially thwarted a Sizwe Khumalo effort, the deadlock was broken in the 15th minute when Thubelihle Mavuso exploited the right flank to beat Fisokuhle Shongwe.

Wanderers briefly threatened an equaliser through Mlandvo Ndzinisa, but his weak effort was easily gathered by Sibusiso Dlamini. Nsingizini punished that lack of composure just three minutes later, as Ayanda Gadlela doubled the lead. A frustrated Wanderers bench responded with a tactical change after only 24 minutes, introducing Sizolwethu Mdvoti for Machawe Dludlu, which brought some semblance of rhythm to the home side. However, the Nsingizini backline, marshalled by Kingsley Kwakyi and Vuyo Macina, remained impenetrable.
