MBABANE- The University of Eswatini is set to welcome students back with energy as the UNESWA Kick-Off Carnival takes over Kwaluseni for the start of the new semester this Friday.
Powered by MTN Pulse, the event promises a full day of entertainment built around student life. Organisers say the carnival will blend music with food and lifestyle experiences in a single venue.
A strong line-up of artists will headline the stage throughout the day including, Young Zesh, Obsession, Goftex Kosie, Sancheziey and MCO Jamrock amongst others. Students can expect live performances with high energy and crowd interaction from start to finish.
Beyond the music, the carnival will offer a range of fun activities designed for groups and friends. Food stalls will serve a mix of local favourites and quick bites while lifestyle stalls will showcase fashion and student brands.
Entry is priced at E50. The ticket covers access to the full carnival experience and includes a free data bundle for every ticket holder.
Organisers have confirmed that all stalls will operate on a MoMo only payment system. The move is aimed at faster service and safer transactions without the need for cash.
Tickets are available exclusively on SmartTicket. Students are urged to buy early as demand is expected to be high ahead of the event.
