MALKERNS – South African Designer Thula Sindi says he will be on the lookout for five designers from the country during the Standard Bank Luju Food and Lifestyle Festival.

Sindi will be the headliner of the fashion component of the festival and he revealed he will spot five designers to take them back with him to South Africa.

This was during an exclusive interview with this publication after participating in the Fashion Indaba hosted yesterday at House On Fire, Amphitheatre.

He revealed he is already working with one fashion designer house from the land. “The story of Africa Fashion is close to my heart. I have a shop called Africa Rise, and I have one designer from Eswatini by the name of Something Neat. I’m actually looking to add five more designers from Eswatini, so it’s a big surprise. So it’s not only for me to come and show my fashion, it’s also for me to bring designers from Eswatini to South Africa. I’ll be showcasing my designs but also be on the lookout for those five brands,” Sindi said.
