MBABANE – So you think you can dance?

The Eswatini National Council of Arts and Culture (ENCAC) has proudly announced that the Buhleni Arts Activation will be a vibrant one-day celebration of talent and culture taking place tomorrow from 10am until 4pm at the Buhleni Plaza.

ENCAC will be hosting that dance competition in collaboration with the Dance Association of Eswatini, Eswatini Music Association and the Eswatini Gospel Music Association.

ENCAC CEO Stanley Dlamini said the event is also part of their initiative and objectives for growing local talents in the country that have never received the spotlight before. “The event aims to focus the vast artistic talent in the northern Hhohho region, bringing together dancers, musicians and Gospel artists on one creative stage showing off what they really have,” he said.

The upcoming dance competition will be themed ‘Celebrating creative diversity in the North’ and promises an exciting mix of music, dance and community celebration.

Young and talented creatives from the Hhohho region have been urged by the show’s MC, Mshikishi, to come in large numbers. “We invite everyone from every corner of the region to attend and support Eswatini’s vibrant cultural landscape,” he said.

The Dance Association of Eswatini will host a regional elimination round for dance groups vying for a spot in the National Dance Championships to be held during this year’s Eswatini International Trade Fair.
