LOBAMBA – Defending champions Young Buffaloes dominated 4-2 against fierce rivals Green Mamba yesterday.

This was during a pulsating encounter in the second week and the grand opening of the Eswatini National Women’s League staged yesterday. The match was played under gentle showers of rain in the presence of Chairman Bongani Mhlanga and Eswatini Football Association (EFA) Board member Aaron ‘Katalala’ Mavimbela among some attendees.

Green Mamba broke the deadlock early into this match through Khetha Ndlovu, capitalising on miscommunication by Buffaloes defence.

Ndlovu sealed a brace from the spot after Buffaloes defender Simangele Sikhondze’s reckless tackle inside the spot in 40 minutes.
