The success of ‘Methodist Medley’ follows her recent crowning as the Best of Africa at the prestigious SABC Crown Gospel Music Awards, further solidifying her influence across the continent. During the event in Durban ICC, KZN South Africa a massive crowd celebrated Nothando Hlophe singing the ‘Methodist Medley,’ a song they all relate to.

Just recently the Gospel sensation reaffirmed her deep respect for the hymn traditions, she confirmed that the beloved hymns featured in her chart-topping track ‘Methodist Medley,’ are originally rooted in the Lutheran traditions.

Speaking through her manager, Phindokuhle Sithole, Hlophe emphasised her commitment to honouring the song’s true origins.
