MBABANE – The MTN Premier League continues midweek at Somhlolo National Stadium this Wednesday.
This is according to a fixture that was released by the Premier League of Eswatini (PLE) yesterday.
Some of the headline fixtures will see Somhlolo National Stadium host a double-header that promises to keep football fans on the edge of their seats. The evening’s action kicks off at 6pm with a high-stakes clash between Mbabane Swallows and Amawele, followed immediately by the much-anticipated capital city showdown between Moneni Pirates and Mbabane Highlanders at 8:15pm.
Elsewhere, the heat of the competition moves to the King Sobhuza II Memorial Stadium, where title contenders, Nsingizini Hotspurs, will clash with relegation threatened Manzini Wanderers at 3pm. This match is expected to be a tactical battle, as both sides look to solidify their positions at the top and bottom of the table.
With only seven games to go before the curtain falls on the 2025/26 season, every point has become a diamond. The race for the title and the fight to avoid the dreaded relegation axe are reaching a boiling point, making this midweek fixture programme a potential turning point for several clubs. Other matches across the country include Ubombo Sugar hosting Tabankulu Celtics at Mayaluka Stadium, while Young Buffaloes travel to Nsukuwansuku Stadium to face Manzini Sea Birds. All afternoon kick-offs are scheduled for 3pm.
